The Wicks Group is pleased to announce that it has been retained by the Industrial Packaging Alliance of North America (IPANA) to serve as counsel for the trade association. The Wicks Group will advise the leadership of the Alliance and its independent affiliates on regulatory and legislative issues affecting the industry.
IPANA is a federation of four independent organizations whose members manufacture new industrial packaging – steel, plastic, and fibre 55-gallon drums as well as intermediate bulk containers. These manufacturing firms produce the vast majority of new packaging from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. IPANA’s affiliates include the Industrial Steel Drum Institute ISDI, the International Fiber Drum Institute (IFDI), the Plastic Drum Institute (PDI), and the Rigid Intermediate Bulk Container Association (RIBCA).
In announcing the firm’s selection, Ms. Susan Nauman, Executive Director of the Alliance, noted that “The Wicks Group has an exceptional reputation for effective representation of consumer product manufacturers, packagers, and shippers involved with hazardous materials matters. The firm also has broad experience serving as regulatory counsel to dozens of clients involved in the transportation of goods both within the U.S. and internationally.”
